The direction has to survive motion

A still establishes intent. Motion reveals whether atmosphere, readability, and action belong to the same world.

01

What a still can establish

A still image can hold composition, material direction, palette, silhouette, and atmosphere long enough to inspect them. It gives production a shared visual bar.

It cannot prove how that direction behaves over time. The camera moves. A character crosses changing light. Weather competes with silhouette. An encounter asks the player to read space quickly.

02

Four moving targets

The current sequence tests four connected modes: LIVE in Green Vale, LISTEN during testimony at dusk, OBSERVE signs in the forest, and FIGHT within the Buried Truth encounter.

All four are generated VISUAL TARGET / MOTION STUDY references. They are not gameplay footage or in-engine evidence. Their purpose is to make rhythm, framing, body language, environmental signs, and combat clarity concrete enough to discuss and reproduce.

Direction becomes useful when implementation can be compared against it.
03

The acceptance condition

A convincing motion study does not complete implementation. Eventual acceptance comes when the intended behavior is reproduced in the real build at the correct camera scale, under player control, and with observable performance.

Until then, the studies remain a moving specification: specific enough to guide work, clearly labeled enough not to overstate it.
